Digital India is a campaign launched by the Government of India in order to ensure the Government’s services are made available to citizens electronically by improved online infrastructure and by increasing Internet connectivity or making the country digitally empowered in the field of technology. The initiative includes plans to connect rural areas with high-speed internet networks. It consists of three core components: the development of secure and stable digital infrastructure, delivering government services digitally, and universal digital literacy.
Digital India is a digital empowerment initiative to provide public services online and to develop broadband networks through increased Internet access through high-speed Internet networks in the world. In 2015, the Indian Government initiated a huge ‘Digital India’ drive. This was undertaken to ensure the accessibility of government facilities in various areas of the country. The main objective was to improve the country’s people’s access to technology. The government has worked to enhance accessibility to the internet and to make it much easier for regional and underserved parts of the country to connect. A plan to communicate countryside to high-speed Internet was one of the initiatives.
Our government has started this for easily accessible public service Mr. Narendra Modi, the Honorable leader of India, launched it on 1 July 2015. The Smart India project is mainly planned to develop India into a smart nation and deliver fast and better Internet services. The Internet has also been an issue in rural parts of the country in the past. Bharat Broadband Network Limited (BBNL) which provides communities, offices or institutions with high-speed internet connection. For easy access to services, Digital India will access the online government services or e-government system.
Digital India has provided a lot, and villagers can now obtain any data. You will also learn the forecast of the climate and have more knowledge in agriculture. What we need is decent internet connectivity is now possible to book any seat at home. Since the digitalization, many railway areas were document free.

- Manufacturing of Electronics,
- Jobs IT,
- Programs for an early harvest
These technologies are used by us daily, from government offices to retail
stores. They help us to share information on concerns or issues faced by us
and connect us with each other.
The Indian people have been giving a term for investing in the program is 1224.5 lakh crore. The budget is used to deliver internet connectivity and to start manufacturing smartphones at a fair price. This would help high the value of shipping all these goods from other countries and create a large number of jobs in India.
